A recommendation for Whispers from the Stone Age:
I initially read 'Whispers' this summer in record time - I simply couldn't put the book down! Now after my 5th read, I feel honored to give my 2 cents worth of opinion.
David Gardner's book is brilliant, highly energetic, personable and compelling. I can now highly recommend this book to everyone on the planet. And by that I mean to the point that it should be mandatory reading for anyone wishing to get out of high school and enter the real world. 'Whispers' could change the course of human endeavor - and I really mean this! Imagine a total populace of critically thinking people, concerned with protecting the environment, putting their best efforts into their chosen careers and being happier in the process.
What David Gardner has done is nothing less than write a valid survival guide for living in this postmodern world society. This point rocked my world when I finally realized and comprehended it. You may 'get it' on your first read, I happen to be on a lot of prescription medicine for pain - I cannot recommend this book highly enough, it definitely put things into perspective for me when I was personally going through some tough times.
In short, do yourself the favor of reading this amazing book. I truly believe that David's message contained in Whispers from the Stone Age can change the world in a positive way. How often do you get a chance to save the world? And if you ever happen to be anywhere near a David Gardner speaking engagement of any kind, go there, seek him out, he is one ball of energy! It's always a wonderful experience to meet a real live original thinker! And his enthusiasm is positively contagious as well!! Thank you for this opportunity!
